It's been a busy weekend for the boys (and one girl!) of the EKYC 2007s who were invited to two tournaments by Holytown Colts and Blantyre Soccer Academy. In total they took 24 kids to Holytown on Saturday 7th of June and 19 to Hamilton the next day.
At the 07's age group, which is 6 and 7 year olds, they play Fun Fours, and they play four 15 minute games. There are no 'tournament winners', and all the kids are awarded medals.
After the weather warnings it was expected to be a very soggy weekend, but thankfully for all involved the rain held off until after the medal ceremony on Saturday and only the one downpour caught the team out of Sunday
