An Owen Gallacher corner caused chaos in the Lochgilphead box with Adam Boyles effort being blocked on the line.
Inside the fifth minute a Gallacher corner was volleyed off the bar by Donaghy and Dean Miller forced the rebound home.
On the fifteenth minute Danny Hamilton fired an unstoppable drive from forty yards that left the keeper helpless to make it 2-0.
