Milton put three past Stenhousemuir and earn three valuable points

This game started off very even with both teams trying to breakdown each other's defences.
Milton took the lead five minutes before halftime with a through ball from Stevenson to Blythe who had his shot parried out to Ferguson who was on hand to place the ball in the opposite corner from a tight angle.

The second half started with Stenny on the front foot with a long ball down the left catching Milton asleep with the Stenny striker finding himself one on one with the Milton keeper Gregory, who took the plaudits after making a very good save from the striker.
Milton took the initiative a continued to probe Stenny and eventually broke them down in the last ten minutes, when Blythe took the ball from a Milton throw in and out paced the Stenny defence to blast bast the helpless Stenny goalie. 
Milton continued to press and had numerous efforts with the best falling to Hope who brought out a fantastic save from the Stenny goal keeper to turn round the post for a corner.
Miltons third came near the end of time came after Finlay pounced on a rebound, 3-0. 
This was an excellent game from both sides playing in difficult conditions with Milton taking their chances when required with a good all round performance by the team, Milton take on Grahamston away in the league in their next fixture.
