EKFC give Stonehouse the blues with league triumph
Stonehouse Under 15s vs EKFC Blue Under 15s
Lanarkshire Football Development Association

EKFC got back to winning ways this week in this stunning victory. The blues were flying from the start and it was no surprise when Daryn Terbit calmly finished in the 9th minute to settle any nerves. Terbit was again on target in the 18th minute and left back Conor Joss added to the goal tally before half time to give the East Kilbride team a 3-0 half time lead.

EKFC sensed there could be more goals for them in the second half but no one could have predicted the goal fest that was about to happen. With central midfielder driving his team forward at every opportunity the blues were to add a further array of goals in a stunning 2nd half display, with a further 3 goals for Terbit, another for joss and a fantastic haul of 5 for John Hooper and midfielder Sam Blance chipping in with one as well.

A truly well deserved victory in which every player excelled themselves. The man of the match award was again a difficult one to decide but the players took it upon themselves to give captain  Adam Fraser the award after his display in setting up 7 of the blues goals the best being his keepy uppy on the touch line and overhead kick to cross in for Hooper to score, but in truth the award could have been given to several players.

The blues now face another tricky away tie next Sunday against high flying Quarter.
