AC Oxgangs 95s vs Tynecastle 95s
Lothian Buses U17s League Division 1 – 11/02/2012

The game got off to a slow start with no real chances, until AC Oxgangs Connaire Lyons was through on goal from a great ball from Murray he looked to score but the Tynecastle centre back tugged his shirt, with no free kick awarded. The game was mostly dominated by Oxgangs, with the goal coming from a corner from the right by Jed Baxter who played it onto Murray’s head.

Shortly after the Tynecastle attack was broken down and Oxgang’s Thabani Patty played the ball to Baxter who sent it up the line to Scott who drove at the Tynecastle defence and laid the ball back to Baxter whose shot was inches from going in.

Half time: AC Oxgangs 95s 1-0 Tynecastle 95s.

The second half’s only real chance from Oxgangs was Kyle Brown’s thirty yard run which ended in a shot collected by the Tynecastle keeper. Tynecastle had a chance right at the end where Ryan Panton slipped it through to Tynecastle’s number 16 but his touch was too heavy and Sloan cleared.
