 The Gyle Recreational Ground Committee are looking for a youth team to play on their fantastic full size 'Tall Oaks' pitch next season. There are currently three teams using the pitch but would like one more team to play their home games there.The pitch, considered as one of the best in Edinburgh, has previously been used for South East Region Finals and the Gyle Rec are offering the use of the pitch for rates cheaper than most council pitches and most other private pitches in Edinburgh. The pitch is next to Gylemuir Primary School in Corstorphine, Edinburgh and is enclosed, surrounded by trees and a fence. This is one of the reasons why the pitch stays in such immaculate condition. The facility has pitch-side storage and hiring of the pitch gives the team usage of changing room facilities at our Gyle Park Pavillion.
Whilst we are accepting applications from teams who play Sundays, the pitch can also be made available for training mid-week and part of the facility is a small 5-a-side pitch which is excellent for small training matches.
