Broxburn Athletic Colts of the West Lothian AYFC took on South East Region YFL outfit AC Oxgangs in a friendly game which was split into 3 portions of 30 minutes.
Oxgangs were quick out of the blocks with a couple of early chances forcing Broxburn keeper Wilson into a fine save 8 yards out.
The hosts hit back on the 10 minute mark, Kyle Butt's powerful free-kick from 25 yards was turned onto the cross-bar by the AC keeper.
The Edinburgh side went ahead in 25 minutes when a fine cut-back from the bye-line evaded the Colts defence and was fired past Wilson from 12 yards.
Broxburn almost levelled a couple of minutes later but Declan Kerr's header just cleared the cross-bar. However, the hosts did make it 1-1 shortly after, a quick free-kick was laid into the path of Marcus Miller who hit a wonderful strike from all of 30 yards that curled in off the keepers right hand post.
The home side went ahead 12 mins into the second period with Jamie Henderson scoring from close range after some good play from McGregor and Drysdale.
Some great football from both teams throughout the rest of the game with AC pushing hard for an equaliser but the Brox rear-guard held strong for a victory.
