Murieston United of Livingston won the League Cup Fnal after beating Forfar based outfit Real Farmington 6-0 at Stenhousemuir's Ochilview Park. Danielle Falconer bagged a hat-trick whilst Lauren Evans scored twice and Katie Hay also netted to give Murieston cup success.
Both teams started the match on an even keel with the ball going from end to end with little chances created. Murieston created the first chance of the match when a cross from the right was met by Lauren Evans, but her shot was well saved by the keeper, before Bianca Murphy's follow up went wide.
The game was lifeless until Murieston were awarded a penalty after a push on Danielle Falconer. Falconer dusted herself down, stepped up and fired the penalty into the roof of the net to make it 1-0.
Farmington had the perfect oppurtunity to equalise when Chloe Dunn got on the end of a lobbed pass before hitting her half volley over for a goal-kick.
The West Lothian outfit doubled their lead when Katie Hay fired home from close range after the Farmington goalkeeper dropped the ball, setting up Hay for the chance to make it 2-0.
Evans so nearly made it three after getting on the end of a through ball from midfield, but she was denied by a great save from the goalkeeper. The game fell silent once again as Murieston held out for half-time.

The second-half got of to a fiesty start with fouls given away by both teams. However, it wasn't long before Murieston extended their lead through Evans. Falconer's cross found Evans in the box, and she fired home on the volley, giving the keeper no chance.
The game had now sprung back into life with Murieston settling down into their usual style of football. Muireston had the best chance of the half so far, with Laura playing through Falconer who had the whole goal to aim at, but somehow she put the ball wide of the goal.
Murieston were denied a fourth when Rachel Gourlay turned away from her marker, before sending the ball across for Danielle Falconer, whose effort was blocked by the defender. However, they got their fourth, and it was a second of the match for Danielle Falconer. Falconer and Evans worked the ball between themselves well before Falconer ran through on goal a fired the ball into the net.
The girls in blue and white put the game beyond Farmington with a fifth, and it was another double, this time from Evans, after she pounced on a defensive mistake to knock the ball past the goalkeeper before tapping home to make it 5-0.
United made it six with Falconer rounding of her hat-trick in style after some good build up play from Murieston which resulted in Falconer finishing cooly into the bottom corner.
Murieston United, last season's SWF Youth Cup (national) finalists, held on for what was a comfortable win and claimed cup success.
