This game was eagerly waited, as holders Erskine came up against what were to be, difficult opponents.
Albion started on the front foot, with runs coming from their right back, this pacey young player was making use of the ball as he hit the line and was able to get the ball in to the box on several occasions causing havoc in the Erskine box.
Erskine were not about to lie down and take a beating though, playing some nice football at times, pinging the ball about the park with excellent precision and timing, making life very difficult for the Albion side.
As the game progressed it was Albion who took the lead, from the right back. Number 11 bursting down the line and putting a wonderful low cross in for it to be met by number 10 who poked it home.
Erskine looked for a quick reply when there was two outstanding saves by the keeper one after the other to keep hold of the Albion lead.
The eventual equaliser came from a corner, which was whipped in, cleared, but only to be met by Erskine's Adam Forde who fired a volley into the corner where the keeper could only gaze in wonder.
The second half started very much the same as the first, good pressure from both teams, but little in the way of clear-cut chances, until Albion popped up with the winning goal, when great running again by number 11 set up another tap home from number 9 as Albion stripped the holders from their cup.
