Rangers sealed their place in the final at Toryglen next month with a comfortable win over an Accies side that didn't have their woes to seek after picking up a number of injuries during the match.
The light blues started brightly, winning a corner in the first minute, but the resulting ball in was held well by Hamilton number one Lauren Bullock.
Rangers kept up the pressure with a number of early chances with Megan Galt the main creator. Her runs down the right hand side were proving to be an vital outlet. Some lovely interplay between Galt, Claire Mullen and Kayleigh Docherty should have really resulted in an opener, but the chance petered out.
As the first half continued, Rangers were still looking for the opener and Sarah Robertson was taking the game by the scruff of the neck and driving her teammates on.
Rangers finally made their domination count when Robertson found herself in space in the penalty area and fired beyond Bullock in the Hamilton goal.
Rangers quickly doubled their advantage when Kayleigh Docherty was found in space by Dana Baird and she coolly rifled home with a fine strike a few minutes before the break.
