The game kicked off with Crosshouse being very lazy and needing to wake up. Hillwood however, were quick out the traps and soon found themselves a goal ahead after a miss kicked, goal kick landed straight to the Hillwood striker, who unfortunately took advantage of this to place the ball in the back of the net.
Things were to get worse for the Crosshouse side as Hilwood doubled their advantage after a good save from the Crosshouse keeper saw the ball turned in by the Hillwood striker on the rebound.

You would think Crosshouse would be very deflated after going two nil down. But, they quickly got themselves into gear and went on the offence. Scoring four goals in quick succession to put themselves ahead. All being very well worked goals.
The game settled down a bit and both sides passed the ball about well. The referee signalled for half time, with Crosshouse finding themselves 4-2 up.
Half Time: Hillwood BC 2-4 Crosshouse BC
Hillwood were clearly shocked at the Crosshouse first half come back and soon, things got even worse for them. As they found themselves conceding a further two goals, just after half time.
Crosshouse' Connor Smith was to score the goal of the game, after his long range effort sailed into the top corner to make the scored 7-2 to Crosshouse. Surely, making the comeback impossible for Hillwood.
In the dying seconds, Hillwood bagged themselves another goal. But, this was to be the last as the game finished 7-3 to Crosshouse.
What a turn around from Crosshouse, showing great desire and drive to come from two behind to win what was, a very exciting Scottish Cup tie.
Full Time: Hillwood 3-7 Crosshouse BC
