Blue Brazil 2003 wrapped up their fourth win from four this season in the Fife football development league division one, with six goals against Real Fife 2003 Blues.

It wasn’t long before top of the league Brazil opened the scoring via a Conor Reid chip on the ninth minute following a ball from Sean McNamara.

Reid was once again on the score sheet just 15 minutes later as his volley nestled in the net to put Brazil two goals to the good.

Confidence was growing in the Brazil ranks and it was three just past the half hour mark as Euan Stewart nodded in a Brandon Smith free kick.

Just a matter of minutes later Conor Reid tapped in from close range to complete his hat-trick and see Brazil into the second half with a four goal lead.

Brazil made it six with two quick fire goals in the first two minutes of the second half.

First Conor Reid scored his fourth of the afternoon as he turned Liam McCormack’s low cross into Fife’s net.

It was another Reid, this time Jack Reid, who scored just a minute later for Brazil’s sixth and he almost made it seven less than five minutes later as he struck the bar.

Unfortunately for Fife they started to apply pressure to Brazil long after the damage was done, as they enjoyed a good spell between the 50th and 60th minute.

Fife had two good chances, the first being missed from inside the area on 51 minutes and the second being saved by keeper Owen Martin on 54.

Despite getting a goal in the 56th minute, it was little more than a consolation for Fife.

Owen Martin once again impressed as he pulled off a fantastic double save as the game came to a close.

Blue Brazil will be very happy with the win which leaves them top of the table. However, second place Kennoway United do have a game in hand, so Brazil may be frustrated they couldn’t keep a clean sheet to aid goal difference. The top two will meet on Saturday as Brazil travel to take on their closest rivals for top spot.

Meanwhile Real Fife 2003’s Blues remain fourth in the league, however will know they need to improve on their performance in this game to stay there. Fife will find themselves looking to regain some confidence as they travel to take on Elgin Star 2003’s who sit eighth.
