Every weekend between now and June 2012 YFS will feature a number of matches, tournaments and events from throughout Scotland, thanks to our team of journalists. - we will ensure your match is covered. All reports submitted will be considered for inclusion in the Daily Record. With the majority of SYFA competitive games wrapped up for the season, the focus switches to the football festivals, of which we’ll be covering plenty this summer.
On our agenda this weekend is the Girvan Youth Football Festival in the South West region. You can find a preview for the up-and-coming event by clicking here.
For those still eager to get their fix of competitive football (and want a change from the Euros), we’ll be spending Sunday in Stoneyburn for the two President’s cup finals.
First up in the morning, Linlithgow Rose Rovers will do battle against Broxburn Badgers at U13s level. This will be followed up with the U17s tie between Whitburn FCA and Armadale SC Colts.
