ADJFA Review - Under 16s-19s - 11/12th November 2017

The Under 16s seen a couple of cup games take place. In the Castle Trophies Cup, there was a win for Newmachar United away to Culter Cobras winning 4-1 whilst A league sides Fraserburgh Link-Up & Middlefield Wasps both progressed from the Presidents Cup.
 
There was wins for Colony Park & Donside Juvenile over Banchory Pumas & Deveronvale respectively whilst nothing could separate Culter United & Banks O’Dee Albion as they shared the points in a 3-3 draw.
 
There was two 3-0 victories for Glentanar & Byron Thistle over Portlethen & Kintore United in the B league whilst Culter Thistle ran out 8-0 winners away to Stonehaven United.
 
The Under 17s saw some cup ties taking place with Banks O’Dee Albion & Westdyke Thistle both running out 2-1 winners over Colony Colts & Culter Boys in the first round of the Regional Trophy. The second round of the same competition saw Peterhead travel to Banchory and the visitors ran out comfortable winners.
 
In the first round of the Raymond Kelly Association Trophy, A league heavyweights Westdyke came out on top in emphatic fashion with a high socring win warming up for their Scottish Cup home tie this weekend against Cumbernauld Colts FC Blues.
 
Colony Park jumped above Banks O’Dee Albion in the Under 17s A league after a 3-1 win away to Glentanar. Banks O’Dee Albion do have some games in hand on teams though. There was B league wins for Byron Ajax & Middlefield Wasps.
 
The Under 19s saw an unfulfilled fixture between Turriff United & Culter Rovers in the Sunnybank Shield with Banks O’Dee Albion running out 7-0 winners away to Middlefield Wasps in the same competition.
 
There was A league victories for Culter Colts over Hermes Youth, ALC Athletic against Cove BC & Ellon Meadows away to Westdyke whilst Huntly won 1-0 away to Kemnay & Newmachar United won 3-2 at Stonehaven.
