ADJFA Review Under 16-19s 03/02/2017

With some wintry weather affecting the ADJFA card, it forced some games to be postponed. There was plenty of goals though across the games that were given the go ahead.

The 16s A league saw a 2-2 draw between Lewis United Youth & Donside Juvenile. The B league games were all off whilst there was a 1-1 draw between Greyhope Boys & Deveronvale Colts. Turriff United made the trip to Skene to take on Culter Cobras & came away with a 3-1 win. Culter Thistle picked up a big win at home.

There was Under 16s cup wins for Middlefield Wasps in the Presidents Cup & Fraserburgh Link-Up also progressing from the Castle Trophies.

Only 2 league games got the go ahead for the Under 17s. These resulted in a 4-1 win for Lewis United against Culter in the A league & Middlefield winning a top of the B league encounter away to Ellon Meadows. Middlefield have a game in hand.

Banks O’Dee Albion bounced back from Scottish Cup exit last week with a big win at home to Banchory in the Raymond Kelly Association Trophy. Westdyke Thistle won 3-0 away to Formartine United.

The Under 19s seen Hermes Youth beat Culter Colts 4-1 in the A league before a full B league card saw Peterhead maintain their unbeaten record with a 5-1 win at home to Colony Park.

Huntly drew 2-2 with Newmachar United meaning Stonehaven jumped into 2nd with a big win at home. Fraserburgh Link-Up might be bottom of the B league however they picked up a 2-1 win over Middlefield Wasps. Turriff United beat Kemnay 4-1 in a mid-table clash. Inverurie Locos beat Ellon 6-0 away from home in the 1st round of the Murray Cup.
