Dyce Whites and Westdyke CC Under 13s met in a Spree A League Under 13s fixture at Pitmedden Road, Dyce on an unsettled Sunday morning. Westdyke won 3-0 thanks to goals from Sean Considine, Milosz Ochmanski and Gregor Zimmerman.
Westdyke took the lead on eight minutes. Zimmerman was a constant threat for Westdyke and played very well for the visitors, his ball found talented forward Considine who guided the ball into the back of the net beyond the Dyce goalkeeper to give the visitors the best start to the game.
Dyce BC Whites have just formed as a team a couple of months ago and under the guidance of coaches including former professional Lewis Muirhead. Dyce had opportunities of their own including a free kick from Harry Baird which was gathered by Seth Miller in the opposition goal.
Both sides had half chances with the half coming to an end, Westdyke kept on playing some good football with Dyce also battling well and the hosts had some good individual and team performances, an effort from Matthew Burnett was denied by Miller.
The weather conditions were getting horrendous as the game wore on and it did take a lot out of either side however it's an experience both sides will benefit for the future.

The second half had more activity compared to the first half. Westdyke were on the front foot again early in the second period with Harry Alexander having an effort on goal denied by the Dyce goalkeeper.
A Dyce corner on 48 minutes brought a chance for the hosts with some patient play finding Stuart Angus however a 20-yard drive went wide.
Milosz Ochmanski had a fantastic game for Westdyke and showed a lot of desire to get involved for his team, he had an audacious effort midway through the second half over the bar however he got himself on the scoresheet on 51 minutes knocking the ball home.
Westdyke enjoyed a really good period at the midway point of the second period and it was 3-0 soon after a defensive clearance only went as far as to Gregor Zimmerman who guided a fine effort into the bottom left hand corner beyond the Whites backline.
Both teams should be commended for the way they tried to play football in horrible conditions with Westdyke deservedly coming out on top over the piece and they will be a good team to watch in the A League this season. Dyce have progressed well over a short space of time and they will enjoy a positive season too.
