After numerous call offs we finally got this Belmont Trophy 2nd round tie to be played, there was a lot of rain in Inverurie over the past 24 hours which made the ground look dubby but still a fine playing surface.
With a few call offs in the North Region it brought a decent crowd on a dull day and they saw Culter wiin 4-0 thanks to goals from Zack Griffiths (2), Aiden Combe and Kieran Fowler.
The early stages of the game were pretty even with both teams trying to get the ball down and play to feet. Kieran Fowler and James Bellis were leading Culter's line well with them both showing good control with both showing good control and trying to get others involved.
The first shot on goal came from Aidan Combe but it was easily saved by Matthew Douglas, their 2nd chance of the game lead to a goal when a long free kick from Stuart Charleton wasn't dealt with properly and Zack Griffiths pounced on the mistake to put the visitors in front.
Culter had another chance in the 25th minute when Adam Monk passed into the feet of Stuart McNicholas who dribbled up the park 10 yards before unleashing a 20 yard effort which just went wide.
With 10 minutes before half time Culter doubled their lead when Stuart McNicholas picked up the ball in the middle of the park and put a lovely ball into the feet of Kieran Fowler who poked the ball past Matthew Douglas.
Culter had 2 further chances before half time when Aiden Combe's 25 yard free kick well struck free kick hit the crossbar then the visitors played some good passing and the ball came to James Bellis who was crowded out and his effort was blocked by Kyle Brown.
It got worse for Colony as we edged towards half time with Andrew Smart and Christopher Hoyle being forced off after bad challenges, Andrew Smart did come back on in the 2nd half.
Half Time: Colony Park Under 15s 0-2 Culter BC Under 15s

Colony nearly pulled a goal back as we entered the 2nd half when Tom Williams's ball found Danny Gerrard whose shot from 20 yards just went wide of the left hand post, if Colony scored it they wouldive been back in the game.
At half time Culter brought on Callum Buchan who was playing his last game for Culter in place of James Bellis and Buchan was winning a few key balls in the middle of the park and evading a few challenges in the process and on 50 minutes a great shot from 18 yards by Callum Buchan just went over the bar.
Culter got the decisive 3rd goal in the 58th minute when Callum Buchan who was having a great match for his final day passed it forward to Aiden Combe who then had 2 options and played the difficult option and played it into Zack Griffiths who beat his marker and poked it past the outgoing Tristan Ross.
The visitors kept attacking at Colony and got a 4th goal with 10 minutes left when Callum Buchan's through ball found Man of the Match, Aiden Combe, who placed it passed Ross and put the game to bed.
