Fraserburgh now just need 4 points to clinch the league title after a crucial 2-0 victory at home to Albion.
The Broch opened the scoring after a ball came in from the left hand channel which found it's way into a scramble, after 2 shots by Link-Up were blocked by Albion, Bailey Simpson was hot on the spot to sneak the ball home from close range.
Simpson then added a 2nd after a throw-in by Sean Douglas found it's way into the prolific forward and his shot found the net beating Cameron Jarvie at the near post.
Coach Colin Simpson spoke about the game at the end when he said "Very hard game, excellent squad performance and a disciplined display, guys put in a hell of a shift, haven't won anything yet though and once again we'll just be taking it 1 game at a time.
"We've got past the barrier, proud of the whole squad, a lot of hard work has been done to get to this stage.
"The 1st goal settled us, keeper didn't have much to do, we could have scored more, we made a couple of changes, it was more of a midfield battle.
"There wasn't any stand outs, they did what we asked them to do, everybody has a job to do in the team, on the pitch we gave our all, the midfield worked very hard."
