After a five week break for both teams due to the fierce weather it was back to league business.
Both teams were rusty as expected after a lengthy break, with not much happening at either end. After the 25th minute Glenburn thought they had opened the scoring through Josh Munro but it was deemed offside.
Half Time : Ayr Craigie 0-0 Glenburn MW
After a few changes at half time, Glenburn came out sharper in the second half and took the lead on the hour mark, a neat one-two between Martin and McMeechan, with McMeechan finishing sweetly to put Glenburn ahead.
Glenburn had the upper hand now but had a scare when the Ayr Craigie striker took advantage of a mistake but unfortunately his effort came back off the post.
Following this scare, Glenburn went up the pitch and increased there lead on the seventy fourth minute, as McMeechan went on a searching run and shot, but his effort hit the post and Declan Holland swepted home the rebound. 2-0
With two mins to go Glenburn sealed the three points, a piledriver from Kane Howarth from twenty two yards flew in, with the aid of a deflection.
Another good three points which keeps Glenburn on top with five clear points with a game in hand as well.
