There isn't much I can say about this game as the first half started really slowly with neither team creating much. The swirling wind was a big factor with the first 25 mins being a non event.

Finally, Bonnyton got on the score sheet when Watt crossed a great ball in to McTernan who rifled his shot in from the left. The first booking came in the 30th minute to a Knightswood player for a heavy challenge on Armour who was on a good run down the right hand side toward goal.

With Bonnyton starting to lift the pace, the second booking for Knightswood came in the 42nd minute after a late challenge. When the game started again, Armour made another great run down the right hand side, he slotted a terrific pass through to Watt who put a great cross into Milligan in the middle of the box to calmly slot the ball home from 6 yards out to make it two.

Just when you think there will be no more action, in the last minute Bonnyton's on form Armour had another run down the right, took his shot in at an angle and watched the ball go in the left hand side of goal past the helpless keeper

Half Time: Bonnyton Thistle Under 19's 3 - 0 Knightswood Juveniles Under 19's

With the game looking wrapped up and Bonnyton stepping up the pace of the game, the sidelines decided to make their first change after 53 minutes. Off came the hard working McTernan to make way for Strachan.

Bonnyton's Patterson was next to go in the ref's book in the 55th minute. Knightswood tried to get back in the game when they had their first real chance as their player smashed in a great shot straight to Murchie in the Bonnyton goal. He got down to it for a fine save but it got the Bonnyton sidelines a bit worried.

The players didn't seem to panic as only 2 minutes later, Milligan got the ball in the middle of the box, with great control, brought it down, turned and slammed it past the right hand side of the keeper.

Knightswood tried to respond and passed the ball well from right to left but could only manage to get the shot off wide of the left hand post.  The final subs were made for Bonnyton as Milligan and Armour came off for McKie and new boy Wilson. The remaining 25 minutes saw a great effort by defender Strachan who shot from 25 yards out only to be stopped by the crossbar and another defender, Davidson, slammed a great strike just past the right hand post.
