The visitors scored after eight minutes, but five minutess later Lewis Young was fouled in the box and Ryan Paterson levelled from the spot, getting the home side right back in the tie.
Crosshouse restored their lead after twenty five minutes.

Five minutes after the restart it was 3-1.
But Jamie Timmons scored to reduce the deficit to one.
For the next five minutes or so Dundee West had a few chances to level, so they were understandably disappointed to fall 4-2 behind.
Jamie Goodfellow saw red for a second yellow before Zander Chaplin reduced the deficit to give to give the home side a chance going into the last ten minutes.
Two late goals for the away side made it 6-3 but the scoreline did not do Dundee West justice.

Crosshouse were a very good team, however a couple individual errors and the away teams striker scoring six didn't help the home side.
