Scotstoun Reds Under 19s 0-4 Arsenal BC Under 19s
GADYFL Under 19s Div 1 - 27/11/2011

Arsenal started the game the better of the two teams, after 5 minutes they were awarded a penalty when Ross Clift was fouled inside the box by the Scotstoun keeper, who was booked. Ian Auld stepped up only to see his shot saved.

Within minutes the gunners had the lead, when after good work from John Davis and Joseph Timney down the right, Timney lofted a lovely ball to Clift who slotted home from close range to make it 1-0 Arsenal. Arsenal scored their second, when Clift once again was sent through on goal only to be felled for a second time by the goalkeeper, the decision was a second yellow card for the scotstoun keeper, and a penalty. Clift fired the ball past the stand in keeper to make it 2-0 to the gunners.

Once again the good work down the right, led to Timney repeating his crossed ball which was blasted home by Clift 3-0 Arsenal. By this time Arsenal had total domination of their opponents, and when a cross was swung in, quickest to react was Mark Lodan who fired his shot back across and into the goal making it 4-0 to Arsenal.

Half Time - Scotstoun Reds Under 19s 0-4 Arsenal BC Under 19s

The second half of this match saw a far more determined Scotstoun team, and even though they only had 10 men, they would fight valiantly, their team actually played better with 10 men than they had with 11. Arsenal prodded a seeked an in-road into the stubborn opposition defence, but Scotstoun made sure there was no more scoring in the match.

Arsenal had secured another 3 points in the plight to retain the championship that they had won in the last campaign.
