In foggy conditions at the new 3G pitch in Stewarton, the home side dominated the match from start to finish.

The home team opened the scoring early on, and from then on Galston did not get another look in for the rest of the half.  As the half wore on Stewarton created many chances with a threatening attacking line there to take as many as they could.

By half time, the home side had racked up 5 goals, the best coming from a chip from just inside the area which left the keeper with no chance.  In truth, there could have been more than 5 goals between the two sides going into half time.

Half Time:  Stewarton Annick Under 13s 5 – 0 Galston B.C. Under 13s

As the second half began, Stewarton looked to pick up where they left off.  They did, with an early goal increasing their lead.  They made it 7-0 shortly after when the ball was squared across the six-yard box and tapped in with ease.

Galston then had a short period of pressure of their own which led to them scoring their only goal of the game.  A corner was not cleared and was eventually tapped in after a goal-line scramble.

After conceding, Stewarton regained control of the match and went on to score another in the late stages of the match to conclude the scoring and make the final score 8-1.
