“There were around one thousand players taking part last year and we hope the tournament is as successful this year”.

This massive festival of football will take place at India Tyres, Inchinnan and will kick off with the Under 12’s category getting their first taste of 11-a-side football which will provide vital experience for the players involved when making the step up from 7-a-side.

Saturday the 1st of June will see the group stages begin for the under 14’s, 19’s and 21’s, who will all be competing to book their place in the finals which will be held the following Saturday.

There will also be a charity game held on Saturday between the parents and the committee members who will hope to raise a good amount of money for the Jenna McKay gift of hope fund (British Heart Foundation).

Sunday the 2nd will be the last day of group games, this time the under 13’s and 15’s sides will be hoping to find themselves top of the group come the close of the weekend.

The top sides of the first weekend will head into next weekend ready to compete in the finals, all of which are taking place on Saturday the 8th.

But the football won’t be over after the finals. The following day, Sunday the 9th, will round off the two weeks of fun with a 7-a-side, super fives and soccer fours festival!

With kids of all ages taking part over the next two weeks, this festival is sure to be a thoroughly enjoyable one for all involved.
