After this results the Skynedogs went top of the League for the first time and when our march to a potentially glorious finish to the season, really began.

Johnstoneburgh were our opponents today and having beaten them already this season, we were confident that we could get the 3 points we knew and hoped would lead us to being top of the league come the end of the 80 minutes.

With Shaun suffering a freak injury at training on Thursday and Adam being unavailable, we had 15 players in the matchday squad.
For today's' team we went with Mikey in goals, the familiar back 3 of Dec, Dazza and Kyle, middle 5 of Kyle, Logan B, George, Craig and Keato, with Ryan and Matty upfront. Logan D, Asha, Lewis and Mikey were unfortunate to be on bench.

In terms of the match itself, it was a bit of a damp squib and we ground out the victory rather than playing the easy on the eye fast and flowing football that has got us in to the positive position we are in, in the league.
We went 1-0 down when former Parkmoor player Nathan scored with a fluke which looped up and over Mikey, with what was their first real foray into our penalty area.
Whilst we were having the lion share of possession we weren't penetrative enough and our final ball wasn't coming off as much as we would like.
We equalised through Craig who after a great through ball by Matty, kept his cool and fired the ball into the corner off the net.

The second half was a little better, whilst not being outstanding, we were efficient enough and finally met our goal.
The winner came through Kyle Harley who managed to run from wide right, across the pitch and into the area, when it looked as though he had over run it and could have passed the ball to Asha, he somehow got a shot off and it evaded the keeper and went into the net.

2-1 was how it finished and although not spectacular, we did the job we needed to do and as such we now sit proudly top of League Division 2.
Although still a long way to go, it is an achievement and one which we want to, and hope, to build from.
