Campsie traveled to Kilmarnock for what was now a crucial game to win after their poor draw against Glencairn in midweek.
Campsie right from the kick off were making chance after chance but as usual they could not put the ball in the back of the net.
They were the better team all over the park and the usual sucker punch happened on 35 minutes when Bonnyton went up the park and scored 1-0.
Half Time: Bonnyton Thistle 1-0 Campsie Black Watch
The second half saw campsie up the pace and were creating chance after chance and when a high ball came over the top to Hamill. He rose high in the air and headed back over the Bonnyton defence for Steven Aitken to turn and chase, and he made no mistake by blasting the ball into the net to make the score all square at 1-1.
Campsie now had the bit between their teeth and were creating chance after chance then on 62 minutes a Prentice free kick from way out on the far side was floated in to be met by the head of Chris Ketterer who made no mistake to put Campsie into the lead, 2-1 to the good.
This looked as if this was going to be the winning goal but all credit to Bonnyton they kept working away and their hard work was rewarded late on in the game when they won a cornerthat was swung into the box and Campsie failed to clear their lines and the ball was knocked into the net for an unforeseen draw.
