Campsie had a great start to the game when Mcluskey hit the post inside the first minute.
Then in the third minute Campsie were awarded a free kick which was hit into the box by Cumming and was met by the head of a Goldenhill player who unfortunately knocked the ball past his own keeper and into the net to give Campsie a 1-0 lead.
Then the game settled and Goldenhill started to push forward and were causing Campsie all sorts of problems, especially down their right wing.
The Goldenhill play was a lot more fluent than ours and their players seemed to want the game more than Campsie so it was no surprise when they equalised in the fifteenth minute.
Campsie were getting as much of the ball as Goldenhill but could not seem to create any chances in front of goal.
Goldenhill on the other hand looked as if they would score every time they went up the park.

The second half was much the same as the first with Goldenhill being first to every ball and when a corner was cleared by the Campsie keeper in the forty ninth minute it was Goldenhill who pounced first and knocked the ball past the Campsie keeper to take the lead 2-1.
Two minutes after Goldenhill took the lead they extended it when they scored their third inside the fiftieth minute.
Campsie now started to make a few substitutions due to some injuries and to try and freshen up the team, but it was too little too late as the game was now outwith their reach and try as they might they could not narrow the gap and the game finished a 3-1 win to Goldenhill.
