Caledonian Braves Launch New Football Partnership Network

Caledonian Braves have launched a new Football Partnership Network (FPN), aimed at creating stronger links between senior football and grassroots clubs across Scotland.

Launched during UEFA Grassroots Week, is is designed to support the work already being carried out by grassroots clubs, rather than replace existing links.

The network will give partner clubs access to opportunities including coach education, CPD, knowledge sharing, collaborative camps and tournaments, as well as a direct link to engagement from Caledonian Braves’ coaching staff.

For young players, the partnership could also provide additional development opportunities through programmes such as the club’s upcoming select programme and Player Performance Programme, alongside potential pathways into the Caledonian Braves setup.

The club says the network will be tailored to the needs of each grassroots organisation, meaning partnerships to develop around what individual clubs already provide.

The network has already established partnerships with Cambusnethan Talbot, Lanarkshire United, Balloch Juveniles and Winchburgh Albion.

Head of Football Development & Pathway at Caledonian Braves, Adam Cairnie said: “The Football Partnership Network isn’t about Caledonian Braves arriving and telling clubs how they should operate. We want to understand what clubs are already doing well, listen to what they need and identify where being connected to a senior football club can genuinely add something.”

YFS wishes the partnership all the best with the new venutre.
