Cranhill United were triumphant in their Glasgow and District League Cup final against Yett Farm as they secured a narrow 1-0 victory to conclude their season.
It was a positive result for Cranhill after finishing just two points below their opponents Yett Farm in the league table.
Yett Farm looked a strong suit as they had won 13 out of 22 games and sat above Cranhill making the fixture a close match for the sides.

It was a fierce start to the match with both sides not shying away from a challenge resulting in several early free kicks but no real chances to note.
The first notable opportunity came from Jack Reilly of Yett Farm who saw his effort strike wide. Cranhill responded with consistent pressure on their opponents and held a large amount of possession, hoping to find the opening.
Eventually, Cranhill United found the opening goal following a free kick that was delivered into a dangerous area before being turned in. But the referee spotted a foul in the box and the goal was ruled out and kept the game goalless.
Cranhill began to seek out a further goal having been denied before with an effort from the captain Lennon Thomson blazing over the bar in a tense opening 30 minutes.
David Adekunle stepped up for Cranhill and delivered the opener after he found Yett Farm keeper Jack Shanks wrong-footed and placed it into the other side of the goal before wheeling away in celebration towards the home supporters.
Yett Farm looked to utilise the vulnerability of the Cranhill defence straight after the opener as Sean McBride powered his shot goal-bound but was denied by the gloves of Cranhill keeper Callum Chen.
Cranhill captain Lennon Thomson found himself with an opportunity from a free kick which he tried to divert low and around the wall but quick reactions from Jack Shanks forced the ball away from the goal which concluded the first half which saw Cranhill United hold the advantage over Yett Farm FC.
As both sides looked to remain defensively solid it offered very few chances in the second half but as fatigue crept in at the latter stages several chances were created including Shay Jordan weaving his way into the Yett Farm box but an impressive piece of defending from Craig Anderson averted the danger as Yett Farm desperately searched for an equaliser.
A further attempt from David Adekunle was brilliantly stopped by Jack Shanks as the Yett Farm FC keeper remained as composed as possible to prevent the opposition from doubling the lead.
A few late chances were destined for Yett Farm FC and they did arrive as Sonny McKenzie delivered a promising ball from a free kick but nobody was able to make contact as the tensions rose in the final minutes of the final.
Further pressure from Yett Farm failed to endanger the Cranhill defence but it wasn’t to be for them as the final whistle blew to crown Cranhill United the Glasgow and District League Cup Champions.
A tense game however there could only be one winner and it was certainly an entertaining match.
