The Scottish Schools FA has confirmed the draw has now been complete and sent to schools.

This year the competition will feature two new categories, U14 and U16 girls.

Current U13 Shield champions, Boclair Academy, have been drawn away to Bannerman High School.

Holyrood Secondary, who have previously won the U14 Shield four times, are home to St Luke’s High School.

Last season U15 champions, Braidhurst High School, are away to Alva Academy.

Last season’s finalists of the U16 competition, Beath High School, have a bye into round 2 where they will play the winners of the round 1 tie between Madras College and Woodmill High School.

In the senior boys category, we will see a local derby first round tie between St Joseph’s College and Dumfries High School.

Reigning champions of the senior girls category, three years running, Wallace High School, will start their journey away to Bathgate Academy.

All fixtures drawn can be viewed on the Scottish Schools FA website.
