The process in three simple steps
Step 1
Attend a trial day. These are hosted regularly at locations across Scotland. Sign up on the YFS website, confirm your attendance and then be put to the test on the day. The days consist of a presentation (with the opportunity to ask questions), training session & skills assessment, followed by a series of matches – filmed in full. You must be 15+ to attend a trial day, with priority given to students in fifth year and above.
Step 2
Following the trial day you will be invited to a meeting with the Future Pro USA team. They will review your performance, provide an estimate of costs should you go ahead and offer a summary of the type of college you are eligible for. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and will then be given time to make your decision.
Step 3
If you would like to go ahead, Future Pro USA will guide you through the recruitment process from start to finish, in addition to supporting you whilst you are in the States wherever necessary.
Upcoming trial days
• Boys Trial Day | November 24th, Edinburgh, 9am – 1pm
• Boys Trial Day | November 26th, Aberdeen, 2-6pm
