Vale of Clyde came out on top in an action-packed game, which certainly did not disappoint. With both sides fighting until the final whistle, it took a 70th-minute winner to separate the sides.

As we got underway, it was Vale of Clyde that were on the receiving end of promising attacking football with early, off-target efforts from Cole Cardie and Colby Irvine, but they did show signs of danger from the get-go.
Cole Cardie created the first major highlight of the game as he placed a great curving ball into the feet of Colby Irvine, and the striker was only able to force the save from JSCC keeper Calum Morrison.
Further mounting pressure from the hosts continued to try and break down the opposition, but a solid defence display from the visitors kept it level.
JSCCโs first key chance within the game came mid-way through the half as Calan McKenzie played a smart lay off for his teammate, who was unable to find the net due to great goalkeeping from Adam Findlay in goal.
A quick turnover from the hosts saw them take back control of the half as once again, Cole Cardie and Colby Irvine linked up to create another great opportunity, but were likewise prevented from scoring the opening goal due to strong goalkeeping from Calum Morrison.
As the conclusion of the half approached, Vale was awarded back-to-back free kicks, one of which struck the bar before the second free kick presented the crowd with the opening goal courtesy of a stunning free kick from Mack Hart.
With that came the half-time whistle, which saw the hosts holding the advantage as they led by 1-0.
JSCC Spors half time talk appeared to have worked well as, within the opening minutes of the second half, they had equalised before quickly grabbing a second as Mylo Morris found himself one-on-one in a fantastic position and made no error in taking his chance to take the lead for the first time in the match.
The pressure was on for Vale of Clyde, who had to respond, and they did so following a penalty in the 52nd minute, which was calmly slotted in by John Bryan to draw the hosts back on even terms.
JSCC Spors shortly after caused havoc in their opponentโs box with danger and several efforts in quick succession being fired towards goal; however, the standout from the attack came from the phenomenal defensive duties carried out by Harris Boyle to clear what looked to be a definite goal off the line.
With mounting pressure, Vale of Clyde were not looking to settle for the draw as they sustained immense pressure on the visitors, which eventually paid off in the final dying moments of the game as what could only be described as mayhem in the box was capitalised on by Colbie Irvine in a dramatic last-minute winner.
With incredible scenes and celebrations from Vale of Clyde, the referee blew for full-time, which finalised what was a hard-fought victory for the home side.
Vale of Clyde Player of the Match: Cole Cardle
Cardle was particularly impressive for his hard work throughout the entire match, despite not being rewarded for his class in performance. He continuously gave his all in getting the ball forward into great areas when it mattered most.
