Zenith Coins Player of the Week: Ancrum JFC’s Kai Gobby

Congratulations to Kai Gobby who, after four goal contributions, wins this week’s Youth Football Scotland Zenith Coin Player of the Week.

In a dominating win for his Ancrum JFC side, Kai Gobby stole the headlines with three goals of his own and set up another for a teammate.

When asked about winning the Zenith Coin Player of the Week award, Kai was “surprised” but appreciated that his hard work in training and leading by example in the game paid off. 

With the end of the season looming, one of Kai & Ancrum JFC’s goals for the year is to win silverware and they have a great opportunity to do so as they are in the final of the Peter O’Neill Cup after an intense penalty shootout victory over Salvesen. 

Ancrum also sit second in the SERYFA Division 2B after picking up 11 wins from 16 games, another one of Kai’s goals is to solidify and guarantee a second place finish.
