Zenith Coins Player of the Week: KSQ Galaxy’s Mark Lamont

KSQ Galaxy U11s Mark Lamont has won this week’s Youth Football Scotland Player of the Week Zenith Coin after a heroic display against Currie.

Lamont was a driving force for KSQ Galaxy, showing great transitional awareness to protect his defence as well as fashion opportunities on the counter.

And his coach, John MacMillan, had heaps of praise after his achievement. “I’m absolutely delighted that Mark has won player of the week. He’s a brilliant kid and brings energy and enthusiasm every week. He was exceptional in this game, showing real grit and determination whilst driving us forward.

“Mark brings energy, enthusiasm, drive, tenacity and skill every week. In Sunday’s game, he was our standout player. His pressing was superb, and he never gives up.”

Everyone at YFS congratulates Mark on his award and wishes him and KSQ Galaxy U11s the best of luck for the rest of the season.
